My Story:

My name is May Chevallier, I am an olive grower in California.  After many years of spending lots of money on harvest crew and experienced frustrations in an ever tightening Ag labor pool, I scoured every where for an affordable, reliable and fast olive harvester.  I was able to quickly decide on the ATRAX4 because it is far and above better than the others in the market and priced reasonably.  I think it is such a great machine that I asked the manufacturer for a distributorship in the US.

 

I have used the equipment now for many harvest seasons and have sold many to very satisfied growers. I am very pleased with it. It is a solid and reliable machine. Tough enough for long hours of field work, but light enough to not cause fatigue.

Manufacturer:

The company, Spacesonic, is in Greece and is run by Alex Makris who worked in Missouri, USA, in the 1980s.  The company makes, among other things, precision stainless steel parts for a German aeronautical company and parts for a Japanese surgical instruments manufacturer.  Responding to requests by olive growing neighbors, Alex designed the ATRAX equipment and in 8 years he has refined it 4 times.  This points to the precision and thoughtful work that Alex put into making the ATRAX4 Harvester.
